We are pleased to share our exciting news about our new venture with WGSN. Last month we had a fantastic article written about the archive which is currently on their website and availble to download from this link: http://www.eyefix.co.uk/Archive/EyefixWGSN.pdf

We look forward to working closely with them every month and assisting them with print inspiration for their trends. We are working with all their departments and will be a regular feature on the vintage section of their website. We are really proud of this collaboration and excited about working with them going forward.

Further to this we have just heard that the WGSN team will be visiting David this week at our Hong Kong studio. We will keep you posted on this development.

About To Pop

Last week we said a sad farewell to Sarah as she leaves us to go on Maternity leave. We threw her a baby shower in the UK studio and feasted on tea and cakes with past and present staff. We will miss her lots but look forward to her return in the Autumn. In the meantime she will be popping in with the baby to keep us updated with all her news. Sarah we wish you all the best.

Horrockses and Mad Men

We were invited to the wonderful 'Horrockses Fashions' private view back in July at the Fashion and Textile Museum. Best known for their full skirted cotton Summer dresses that became a classic staple in every women's wardrobe in the 40's and 50's. The prints were so inspiring and sometimes humourous (we loved the one with the lobster), it was all about the print and innovative ideas. Since the exhibition more and more 50's reference seems to be appearing in trend, the new series Mad Men has been an inspiration to many designers recently in styling and also in colour. We feel that this will continue into next season which is great for us here at Eyefix as we have lots of fabulous 50's prints for designers to choose from.

Fabulous Home Textiles!!

We were invited to a wonderful private view last Thursday to view a very famous archive of prints and designs from the Sanderson collection currently showing at the Fashion and Textile Museum. It is rare to find an exhibition purely about textile print these days and also to see such a beautiful collection that is ususally behind closed doors. 'We are very excited to announce that we have opened a second office in Hong Kong, run by David Eaton. As well as our fabric ranges he has with him a capsule collection from the main textile archive from our London design studio, so now you can also see original antique textile designs in Hong Kong. It is the first vintage textile archive in Hong Kong! Our new office has already been welcomed by international fashion brands out in the Far East who use it as a fantastic source of inspiration and for those who come out for their production needs and who are in need of a quick resource for print. NYC October trip with new collection!

It will be an eceltic mix of prints, jacquards and novelties for Fall and Holiday. We went to the private view at the Fashion and Textile Musuem for this amazing new exhibtion "Undercover - The Evolution of Underwear" that has just opened this weekend so go and check it out! Wonderful vintage lingerie sets and gorgeous girlie boudoir displays that make you go Ooh La La!
